話題:
What is your attitude towards Chinglish?
范例1:
Actually, Chinglish means Chinese English. It means that some English expressions are exclusive because of being coined by Chinese people, which are very popular only in China. For instance, “l(fā)ong time no see,” in fact an expression with grammar mistakes, now has been widely accepted to make a greeting. To a great extent, China’s exclusive culture and politics are responsible for the root of Chinglish.
Personally, language is a tool for communication and thus as long as Chinglish is widely accepted, it is OK to use it. Of course, there is a precondition. It is that native English should be learnt. On usual occasions, Chinglish is OK for exchanging information as long as we can have effective communication. First, open your mouth and speak out. Then there will be a conversation and communication. In this way, knowledge learnt in schools can be applied into practice and what you learn becomes what you own.
范例2:
Chinglish is a mixture of Chinese and English, typically in corporating some Chinese vocabulary or constructions. One major reason of Chinglish can be attributed to the translation of software and lack of English grammar. Currently, many voices have appeared across our country, criticizing the inadequate usage of English. However, just like the wide acceptance of Hinglish, Chinglish may become a next successful wide spreading language, which can be categorized as a new kind of English dialects. Chinglish can act as a bridge, communicating Chinese with foreigners. In this condition, it will largely promote the cultural exchanges with different countries. Moreover, unnecessary misunderstandings would be reduced to a great degree. Gladly, it is said that a large number of English speakers tend to use Chinese English in their daily lives. It is hopeful to see that the unique Chinglish is likely to gain popularity over the world.
